Landons 6 month check up!

Today Landon had his 6 month check up and shots. He is very tough and only cried for a minute and then was all smiles. It is still hard to watch so thank goodness Daddy was there to hold him!

He weighs 16.10 oz and is 27 inches tall! He is a healthy growing boy and that is all we could ask for. He is eating all kinds of fruits and vegtables and we are going to start meats soon then table food in a month or two!

Landon started sitting up on his own at 5 months old and is now 6 months and is rolling! I am not ready for him to crawl! Well off to bed! I know this was alot of rambling but havent had much time to blog since I went back to work!!

Already a Texans Fan! 6 months old and we are loving this age!! He has been sitting up since he was 5 months old and learning so fast!!

Oh my gosh! I cannot believe how fast he is growing and how much his personality is changing. He loves hair and laughs alot! He loves when we sing to him and read books! He is a happy baby and we love him to pieces! I took him to Picture people and we were in and out of there within 45 min. He did great and I love his pics!! Here are a few!!

Grams' Service

Grams we love you so much and I will remember all the things you taught me.

My Grams passed away on June 23,2011 at the age of 82. She was my best friend and my role model. We were very close and I will never forget all the special talks and times we had together. I miss her more than anyone knows but I know she is our Guardian Angel. She will always be in our hearts. We had her service at Prince of Peace in Houston on Aug. 11, 2011. It was a beautifu service and I know she would have loved it. So many friends and family showed up to tell stories about all the things she did for others. Landon is 5 months old!

We love him so much and he has such a awesome personality!! I never thought you could feel this stongly but we are so happy and blessed!!

Wow! He is growing so fast! He started baby food at about 4 1/2 months and loves it all. He started with sweet potatoes but loves apples, bananas, green bean, carrot, and I don'y like the smell of the peas but he will eat them!! Here are a few 5 month pics! He weighs about 15 or 16 lbs!

Landon was 4 1/2 months old when we went to Glaveston. He loves the water so I decided to see if he liked going under water! He loved it and never cried! I did it twice and he smiled!He is just a joy and such a sweet boy! Wow I never thought I would be that daring but I want him to love the water! Here some pics of us swimming at the condo.

Our Future Plumber!!

Galveston and Moody Gardens 2011

This is Cha-cha the mascot. We went to the Rainforest Cafe on our last night and really enjoyed it! They had a boat ride in the dark and we went through the jungle even Landon got to ride! We did not eat till 9 but the expereince was worth the wait! Landon got a Cha- Cha frog from Bebe and loves it!

Well this blog does not like me!! It won't let me put the pictures in the correct order but oh well. We all had a blast and Landon, Camen, Caden and Cashy had a great time!! This is a pic of Hallie and I inside the rainforest at Moody Gardens!

Landon and I on Galveston Beach!! Well this is nothing compared to our annual Florida beach trips or Huntington Beach trips but its close and we still enjoyed it. ( Well we lasted about 1 hour or less but hey we are spoiled and have been to al ot of pretty beaches! So we oppted for Palm Beach or the pool!)

One night all the other kids and Landon were taking naps except Camen so Hallie and I took him and went fishing! He caught the most fish and they were small but he caught them! He did say " I want a big fish Mommy, not these little ones! " Ha!! Well I told him he should be happy he caught any fish because I caught all the junk in the sea and thought I had the big one! I caught a rusted beer can, a huge scale of a fish, a net, ect! We had fun and enjoyed the nice time with one kiddo at a time. Was fun eve though we did not catch dinner! I think Hallie also caught some bate fish but I was to busy getting the junk of mine!!

Here is Aunt Jil with Landon at the Aquarium! This was our first stop and we enjoyed it and were so glad Jil could come with us! She was our roomate at the condo and a good one!!

On July 12,2011 the boys had planned a fishing trip to Port O Conner and we did not want to sit at home with the kids so Hallie and I made a plan!! We were going to get a condo in Galveston and stay a few days. It was just the girls and the kids! BeBe, Aunt Jil, Hallie and I and the kids! We had a great time and did alot in 3 days! We went to the Aquarium, Rainforest, fshing, pool, Palm Beach, The beach, oh and the Rain Forest Cafe!! Great trip!

Well my computer was down so I am going to go back and catch everyone up on our lives! Landon was 4 1/2 months old when we started him on baby food! We decided to give him sweet potatoes first and he loved them! Here is a pic and of course it was a huge mess but so glad he liked them! He is now 5 months and has tried many stage 1 foods and loves them. He is so sweet and love to watch him get so excited when we bring out the jars!
