Well we love to travel! We just got back from Chicago and fell in love with this city. We took Landon with us and he did great and loves to travel!! He got to ride in first class with his Daddy. This is his second trip on an airplane and he was wonderful! Spoiled at only 3 months old! He did great on the plane. He just slept and ate! He is such a content boy and loves being outdoors. We walked everywhere in Chicago. We think Landon's stoller may need some new wheels after all that walking!!! Here are some pics from our trip!
3 months old and riding in first class! Look at those hotties!!!
Day 1- We checked in to the Embassay Suites Lakefront Chicago! We loved this hotel because they were in the middle of everything. they had 2 hours of free happy hour, and free breakfast! We only stayed there 2 nights but would definantly stay here if we come back! We walked down to Navy Pier that afternoon and ate. We ate at Riva's overlooking the lake. It was a beautiful view.
Navy Pier! Family photo!
Day 1- After the pier we decided to take a walk down Magnificent Mile. It is loaded with tons of shops! I could have been in real trouble. We then went up to the 95th floor on the John Hancock building. Here is Landon overlooking Chicago. It is the coolest view. You can see the lake, bulildings, pier, and all the beaches.
Cloudgate also known as the "Bean." It is so neat and every view of it you see something different.
Day 2-Landon with his serious face in front of the Picasso art work in the park. We went on a Taste Buds food tour of Chicago Loop area. We were the only people on the 11am tour so we got our own private tour! It was so awesome. We learned so much and some really cool facts about Chicago and its history. We got to try Chicago deep dish pizza, hot dogs Chicago style, gumbo, cupcakes, and ended the tour at the 1st restraunt in Chicago wih a root beer and a braut worst. We walked through the Palmer Hilton where the brownie was invented and the 1st Hotel to have phones in every room. We also walked through the cultural building and saw beautiful arkwork. We really enjoyed the tour and learned alot!
The trump tower!
We loved Millenium Park. This is where the bean and these really cool fountains are. The faces change often and when the mouth closes the water sqirts out. So creative!!
